The changes since Legito PowerUp 2022 and Legito PowerUp 2023 symbolize what’s been happening at Legito over the last 12 months. So much has happened, and we could feel the vibe when we got together in Prague last month.

This year, we had the venue and conference solely for Legito, and still it was hard to squeeze everything in. Speakers travelled from across the globe and from diverse sectors, but we heard the Legito community has more in common than just a share in a fast-expanding network of users.

Legito customers have substantially extended their deployments in the last 12 months. Some of those organizations now send large teams representing their own centres of excellence – other delegates benefitted from the insight shared by experts, no longer confined to Legito consultants.

I hesitate to focus on any particular presentation in this round-up because they each deserve more than just a quick summary – we will bring reports from each presenter in the coming period. What many of the presentations had in common, however, is a collective sense that automation in our customer base has matured in the breadth and depth of their adoption, also resulting in compelling ideas from users about what they would like to see in the future. This year, I needed a notebook to keep track of the feedback to ensure nothing was lost when the Legito team de-briefed after the event. If you have thoughts you didn’t share at the event, it’s never too late to email us.

I’m not a member of the Legito full-time staff, but this year I had the opportunity to visit Legito HQ at Brno after the conference. I witnessed the thirst to hear what customers are saying and requesting. The conference has become a pivotal event to share news, but also to get feedback that will generate exciting new developments doubtless coming before the next conference.

Some conversations were controversial: news and views about AI differed significantly among the speakers and among delegates. I enjoyed a debate with one delegate who lectures on AI to university students. These conversations reflect global debate and few of us yet understand the topic as deeply as we would like. I think it’s going to be especially interesting to see how organizations keep (or don’t keep) humans in the loop – and that’s a focus Legito will continue to have.

Some things didn’t change from the previous year. In particular, the boat trip through Prague works so well as it is, although next year, borrowing the Jaws quote, we’re going to need a bigger boat.

And, there will be a next year…watch this space.
