2023 Summary and Plans for 2024
Let me start by giving thanks to all our employees and partners for all your hard work on Legito’s endeavors to deliver the best product and services to our customers, and to our customers for supporting us and inspiring our innovations. It wouldn’t be possible without your feedback and ideas that you share with our team.
Legito’s goal for 2023 was to stabilize the entire organization after several years of three-digit hypergrowth. I believe that we have largely succeeded in this endeavor while still managing to develop and release cool new features.
We successfully completed several quality assurance initiatives, resulting in the implementation of our new quality assurance processes. Amongst other things, we have built tens of thousands of automated tests. We have invested more resources in quality assurance this year than in all previous years combined, so we can provide superior services to our enterprise customers, which benefits all Legito customers.
We spent by far the most time and resources on removing our technology debt than any other year. Despite our customers not seeing the benefits of this work, it facilitates heavy acceleration in the development of new features next year and years to come.
Nonetheless, we still managed to release over 30 features (more than 2 per month!) to help our customers succeed even more with Legito. In particular, the new PDF Templates feature was a notable success, becoming hugely popular, very quickly.
In addition, we have significantly increased the number of staff in our support and professional services team, so our increasing customer base is very well served.
Innovation is in our Legito DNA, with our core company value being speed. But with Legito becoming a more robust tool every year, it is increasingly challenging to continue innovating that fast. Therefore, our development team at the end of this year has more developers than ever, so our customers can enjoy many new features next year too. And, looking at our product roadmap, these new features will be amazing.
In terms of business development, we have the highest annual recurring revenues we have ever had, and the largest number of customers we have ever had. We have achieved all of this without any investment or loans, and just by reinvesting our revenues.
So, what are our plans for 2024?
First and foremost, we will release our next-generation Document Editor sometime in Q1. It is the largest, longest, and the most expensive project we have ever worked on in Legito. The majority of our team has been assigned to this project for a while. Once released, it will be a big leap forward for our customers and document automation as a whole.
Additionally, we will focus on the CLM features such as automated workflow routing, advanced search, enhanced notifications, etc. Last but not least, there will be a constant stream of new out-of-the-box integrations next year.
We are doubling-down on our commitment to build features that significantly increase the value of the Legito software for our customers, every year. Stay tuned, as next year will be super exciting and full of big announcements.
