What are the signs that your organization should be looking for a Document Automation solution, or replacing the one that you have?

In a previous article we discussed 4 reasons why you and your organization might want to look for a Document Automation/CLM solution. But there are many more reasons to add a solution like Legito to your arsenal.

Here are 3 of our favourites:

Your existing tool can’t keep up – v. 2.0

Let’s say, for example, that you are using a Document Automation solution provided by one of our competitors. Now, we don’t mean to criticize our competitors, they do well enough, however, the vast majority of our competitors offer tools that are based on Microsoft Word. This means they share the same limitations of functionality found in Microsoft Word. The end result is that you will quickly run out of options.

This is a strong indication that you need a new Document Automation solution. Ideally one built on structured data. You can read more about the differences between Microsoft Word and Structured Data-based Document Automation/CLM solutions here. Quickly discover why the time for a new automation tool is probably now.

You’re expanding – but not where you want

This second issue of expansion is related to one we talked about in a previous article, but is specific to organic growth – your company is making money but resources are still limited, especially for teams that need automated documents the most.

Chances are, as you’re selling ever increasing numbers of units, the additional headcount is focussed in product, marketing, and sales teams – not in HR, procurement, or legal, which are the teams that need automation the most. Automation helps soften the blow to these teams, while allowing them to manage additional demands like multiple global offices and international contracts.

You’re fed up with routine tasks

Often, our first contact with a large company is with an employee in a satellite office buried under mountains of document changes that need to be executed yesterday, or documents that otherwise need to be easily managed. These are fairly routine tasks that can lead to turnover of employees who are not resourceful. For those who are, they are proactively seeking ways to fix their headaches by automating their workflows, with Document Automation being a great first step.

Is it time for a Document Automation/Contact Lifecycle Management system (or an enhancement of your existing tools) in your organization?
