Legito PowerUp 2024 A Step Ahead
- Lada Austova is a lawyer with one of the largest Czech law firms, PRK Partners.
- They have been using Legito since 2017 – they started using Legito’s published templates.
- They liked Legito’s ease of use and reliability, so they also started to create their own templates when that feature became available.
- At first, Lada reported, they faced a challenge common to many law firms: their lawyers thought their work was too custom to be assisted with tools like Legito.
- The firm therefore began with a template for assisting the internal anti money-laundering procedure.
- AML had become significantly more complex after a change in the rules.
- Legito guided lawyers through the complexities.
- The tool was then adopted by the Czech Bar Association, where it remains free of charge for any law firm.
- Just that template has now been used more than 4,500 times.

- The firm’s labour law team was the next to recognise what they could do with Legito templates – the partners in that team recognised that Legito could help them to scale.
- Lada reported that the template most loved by the lawyers was used to calculate the cost of court proceedings.
- The template saved time, but it was popular because it automated a task which the lawyers really disliked.
- The firm was then able to progress to automating more complex financial transactions and adding templates to a batch generation facility.
- Lada concluded her presentation by posing the question: “Why? We can’t do it any other way any more.”
- They continue to have plans to add more templates, integrate with internal systems, while reducing errors and maintaining standards.
