Legito PowerUp 2024 Legito's New Innovations

Continuing the innovation theme, Legito consultant Paul Marlborough reviewed improvements added in 2024. This presentation is more suited to customers already familiar with Legito.

Legito already has extensive out-of-the-box integrations, but more have been added:

  • Dropbox Sign – yet another way to facilitate digital signatures from within Legito
  • Jumpcloud, SAML and Okta – all aimed at increasing the options for single-sign-on, and enhancing role-based permissions
  • Salesforce – this needs no introduction – book a demo to see how slick it looks
  • Zapier & Make – these prominent middleware applications offer a path to many other solutions. The Legito integrations are two-way. And, of course, they are no-code and super-quick to build
  • SharePoint
  • On the subject of integrations, Paul reported on version 7.0 of the Legito API, with new API calls as well as useability improvements. The PUSH API now has enhanced security and header options.

  • Users making use of scripts can now capture information about logged-in users, such as user name and email, as well as custom user data.

  • There are nine new automatic transitions added to the workflow tools, reducing the need for human users to manually progress a workflow to the next stage. This is expected to be particularly useful for customers deploying Legito as a CLM solution.

  • The Template Editor gets a share of new features too. There is a facility to duplicate elements, together with all their properties. New ‘conditions’ have been added, with Paul expressing a particular fondness for the ‘has been edited’ condition which makes it easy to alert users to text which has been changed and to show what the original (unedited) text looked like.

  • Among the user interface improvements, there are more options for PDF downloads, including the ability to change the order of documents and package downloads into a single PDF.

  • US users will appreciate the localizations that recognise non-metric measurements.

  • There is a new widget for managing digital signatures, as well as streamlined processes and extra fields pertaining to a signature.

  • There are some improvements to the handling of styles, including the ability to duplicate styles and define default styles.

  • All content (including third party content not generated from within Legito) is processed by OCR to provide enhanced search options. Search options are also augmented with wild cards, fuzzy search and synonyms.

  • Filling a gap noticed in other products, the team have added rich features to PDF forms. The PDF forms are expected to be useful for organizations working with government forms, or with self-service users.

  • As ever, look out for Legito webinars to see the new innovations in action.
