Legito PowerUp 2024 Sublinear Scaling - How Companies Scale Efficiently
Filip’s conference presentation gave us a more scientific term to describe what all organizations want: sublinear scaling. Sublinear scaling, when applied to organizations, means that a doubling of size does not require double the energy and resources to sustain the organization. However, Filip says you have to be careful with the goal of sublinear scaling – cognitive tasks (done by the teams that organizations typically want to minimise) can result in a loss of quality as work loads increase.
- For anyone considering an integration with Salesforce, Filip showed us a working example of Salesforce integrated with Legito.
- The integration was elegant and intuitive, but Filip emphasized how it’s easy to configure with no code.
- The integration solved a business problem, because contract managers were spending too long fixing issues in documents created during the sales process.
- Salespeople started using the document generation features to take shortcuts by issuing documents with missing or incorrect data.
- The Salesforce integration allowed salespeople to create documents with just a few clicks (from within the Salesforce interface), but then Legito would use the data already in Salesforce to create documents tailored to the opportunity.
- The process could start with an NDA, extracting customer details. But Filip then made use of the automated actions in Legito to create a workflow which evolved from an NDA to a master services agreement and then to creating Statements of Work.
- Statements of Work, for example, involved complex pricing and variable details, which we could see flowing directly from Salesforce.
- The net result of the integration is that salespeople could create documents quickly, and the contract managers were spared the workload of manually tailoring documents.
- Filip estimated the solution reduced administrative workloads for contract managers by 50%.
- Filip also demonstrated the use of a traffic light system to quickly identify where contract managers should focus their work to achieve their primary aim of getting contracts signed more quickly without any loss of quality.
- All of the features used by Filip were available out-of-the-box to all Legito users, configured with no-code, and without the need for Legito consultants.
- Filip showed us the screens where he visually mapped data from Salesforce to Legito.
- We recommend playing the full video to see the Salesforce integration in action.
